Q This week, we learned about Holland's personality typology and current applications in career assessment. Holland believed that most people are one of six personality types (Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional), and people who choose work environments similar to their personality type are more likely to be successful and satisfied. Please visit the US Department of Labor website at https://www.mynextmove.org/explore/ip (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site. and complete a brief interests inventory based on Holland's RIASEC model. Please share some of your thoughts on Holland's theory and personality typology. Did your two strongest personality types surprise you? How about suggested work environments/careers? How might Holland's personality typology manifest in the workplace with co-workers similar and different from one another? Would you consider using a personality test based on Holland's typology (e.g., Self-Directed Search, Strong Interest Inventory)? Why or why not?

Holland's theory and personality typology test are good enough and in order to be very frank, in comparison to the MBTI, I am more satisfied with the results of this test. I got highest score in the artistic skills. I have received 40 here. I got second highest in social and artistic. In these two segments, I have received 35 each. I got lowest score in conventional section. I was much sure of this result and I am happy with this result. Honestly speaking, the result was as per my expectations because I have given all the answers in an honest way. I know that I have many artistic interests in comparison to others. It is not that I do not like investigation. I like to do innovative activities but artistic skills are the plus points of my personality. Hensefo0rtrh, I am not at all surprised by the result.
